Peanut Butter Protein Balls (Great snack for kids)


1 cup plain quick oats

½ cup honey

½ cup Maple Syrup

1 cup natural peanut butter (drained)

1 ¼ cup vanilla protein powder

2 tablespoons ground Flax Seed

1.) With peanut butter still in the jar, drain the oil off of the top   2.) Mix all of the ingredients in a large bowl with a spatula        3.) Wash your hands and continue mixing the ingredients until there are no dry spots   4.) Roll up balls of the mixture about the size of a half-dollar and place them on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper or parchment paper   5.) Cover with wax paper or parchment paper and refrigerate - But don't forget to dunk in the Frosting below!!!!!

For The Frosting Ingredients:

Use maple syrup to make a refined sugar-free vegan chocolate frosting recipe. This is a very simple and easy recipe, just make sure to use pure cocoa powder with no added sugar to keep this chocolate frosting recipe refined sugar-free.

½ cup Organic Cocoa Powder

½ cup Smart Balance Margarine, softened

1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

½ cup Maple Syrup

Simply process all ingredients in a food processor or blender until smooth and creamy and you are all set. Gently dunk peanut butter ball and twist as you pull it out.
